dad was featured in the Berita Minggu (Singapore's Malay language newspaper) from 1981. he was a Mould Designer for Philips back then. but when they moved to Perth, all his colleagues moved too, except for dad - who decided to join a German company (the name slips me) instead.

i fondly remember that drafting board in the photo. dad taught us how to use it, and i remember doing technical drawings on that board for my secondary school projects.

we also used that board .. for our Subbuteo games.

and yeah. i most certainly got my meticulousness from dad.
