this is a classic Malay kueh called Kueh Bakar Berlauk. its kind of like a savoury custard cake, topped with some minced beef, chopped shallots, and some chillis. its one of my favourites .. and so glad Karache Cafe in the city was selling them - and i had it earlier to kick off my iftar for tonight.
