i made some contributions last year to the Ehlers Danlos Society, thanks to Amy. and while i did expect to be on a mailing list after that (i do get good email newsletters from them), what i totally did not expect was .. to also be on a physical mailing list!

i didn't know these still exist in this day and age - you know .. save paper, money et al.
