The Diplomat, on Netflix starring Keri Russell, was a really good watch. i started the show, expecting a "cheaper clone" of Madam Secretary with Tea Leoni (where i lost interest in the series after the first season) .. but halfway into episode 1, it kinda is , but with sprinkles of the spy elements from The Americans (another great show with Keri Russell).

it was definitely so much better than my initial expectations, with a great performance from Keri. i really the enjoyed series so much that i just had to recommend it - especially with a season 2 already confirmed.
