decided to get a new pair of specs at where Idor normally gets his. my current one is already 10 years old .. so i reckon it's just about the right time for a new pair.

there was a simple one that really felt good on my face. held to that, did an eye test, and settled on progressive with no transitions.

i later explained why not transitions (other than trying to keep the price down) .. when i was then shown some metallic ones that allowed for a clip on shade. tried a few .. while it did not feel as comfortable as the one i selected earlier, i did settle on the one that was the closest match.

still the same price. so hopefully it turns out well (next week)
