Shari messaged me last week if i was free today for a small simple Hari Raya lunch gathering. i forgot to reply, and when she rang last night, i was kinda of already in bed.

replied this morning, and said i'd be there .. but the weather was making feel like wanting to just stay home to read and do nothing.

but i braved the weather, and my mood, caught the bus, which is only like 5 mins to her place .. and ended up staying till the end. yeah, i didn't know everyone else other than Shari and her friend, but i chatted away pretty good with everyone in the beginning, and then stuck with Milan where we chatted all the way till he left.

after that, it was me and her remaining friends, and we continued chatting for a bit. not a total surprise, but still quite a surprise .. that i could comfortably "hang" with them.

really glad i did not listen to my "stay home" mood, and ended up attending this gathering.
