the event earlier tonight .. where i was kinda freaking out beforehand cos well, we had a script, and i was so afraid to diverge from it.

if you've worked with me, you know how i prefer to have the points in my head, then spit them out free form. but me and Em had spent quite a bit of time on this, cos we wanted to make sure we covered all the points we felt needed to be conveyed.

but in the end, i thought it went ok. we both didn't really divert too far off, and the attendees' attention and apparent interest as we both went on, really help calmed me down. plus, questions and comments we got were of the top notch quality.

and yeah i know. i've done plenty of presentations and talks, but last night was my first ever specifically related to neurodiversity. so thank you to Em (who did most of the heavy lifting by the way) Bita, Allison, and Engineers Australia WA DEI committee for having enough trust in me.
