after more than 10 years, the fan for the living room i bought ages ago from Bunnings, broke down. no such model available anymore. so did some Googling, and decided on the Philips 2000 Series Pedestal Fan available at Good Guys. had planned to just get one of this, and another cheap one for my room, but .. it did look and feel good in store so ended up getting both the same.
