i finally got my copy, hardcover, of Platform Decay .. the latest in the Murderbot books, by Martha Wells.
in case you missed it, this is thanks to D, who managed to find me a copy at a much cheaper price than Perth when she was in KL recently.
which is one thing i don't understand - the book prices here. especially for the novellas, be it hardcover or paperback .. where they can cost as much as a normal paperback (large format). i mean, i've seen it cost more for much thicker books, but not less for thinner books.
of course, i kinda understand things like publisher, demand, printing, popularity, shipping, etc. but hey .. i'm writing this as the average consumer, who is still recovering from his comic floppies and graphic novels addiction.
