Project Hail Mary was amazing - so much fun, enjoyable, and .. emotional. definitely worth watching in the cinema, and totally perfect for the kids or family night.

as someone whose read the book, i thought it was a really good adaptation for the screen medium - visuals were stunning, humour was perfect, and though not much of the "hard" science, they managed a good balance.

and Rocky .. was exactly how i imagined Rocky to be!

my only very minor complain was that i wanted Stratt to be more ruthless and badass. but .. that "Sign of the Times" scene though.

go watch Project Hail Mary in the cinema if you have not. highly recommended - along with the books (print, digital, audio).
