i just attended my first ever WordPress related event. yeah, yeah. i can hear all you padawans and former colleagues from the last 20+ years ROTFFLOL and gasping in shock, like .. Riz, WordPress, you ?? dafugg !!?

but hey, i'm now in an environment that's mainly WP, so .. why not.

it was a small affair tonight .. just the way i like it. cosy, intimate, and more conducive to a genuine community vibe, where we exchanged knowledge and shared "war stories".

reminded me very much of that first few Go meetups we ran last year.

and because it was all about the creative collab between design and dev, i wasn't like totally lost or anything. and bonus was when we talked about Bricks .. which is something we're already using at Dezign Digital

so yeah. my first time, and hopefully not the last .. cos i'd really like to see this continue, and am very willing to help out in any way i can.
