my first time as a mentor for SheCodes Australia

i don't normally put my hand up to mentor for SheCodes. but when Hannie messaged me some weeks ago about this, i had a quick look, saw "basic HTML and CSS" .. and decided i may as well, since its a passion of mine. no, not just the HTML and CSS, but the basics.

there's too many good tools out there these days that many of the newer gen devs have taken it for granted .. thinking they can get away with simply "applying" frameworks instead of getting down and dirty to build from the ground up.

but long story short ..

it was pretty chill today. yeah, i'm still tired from last month , but i'm glad i turned up today to help out. met some new faces, along with familiar ones. and it did feel good to be able to impart my knowledge and experience.
